n@@@(L₯―Dοjjoined in "Japan Festival" held in Vienna, Austria on April 3rd, where each group from Japan introduced Japanese culture by singing, dancing, demonstrating tea ceremony, flower arrangement, kimono show, etc. The Konzerthaus, where we sang, is a wonderfully resonant hall. As an accompanying pianist, I was very nervous. My hands and feet trembled with tenseness. Powerful conducting by Mr.Daijo, our conductor, and the chorus members songs helped me so I could play comfortably. We won big applause and I felt that the music communicated our hearts to the audience. ` @h@ the report of "Moved to Tears on the Spot," I felt I was having the same feeling with those
leaders when I visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park on the 2nd of May. There, I also visited the remains of the dome damaged by the A-bomb in World War U. I really realized the dread of war. At the Peace Monument, some visitors were praying for the dead. I was surprised by the thousand-crane ribbons made by the children. It reflected that all people are in earnest wish of peace. Only in a peace can people live in happiness. But it is regretful that the Indian government is doing nuclear testing as reported by the news recently. I love peace and hate war, for it only brings suffering to people. I hope the world is full of peace and love forever. iy@j¬@j¬C@j
